Site Visit Team Expenses: $2,000 to $2,500 (Depends upon travel fares, local lodging and meals). Re-approval Fee: $1,500 (Covers second five-year period as Approved Program; no annual fee.) Instructions: Preparing for Approval/Program Self-Study Institutions seeking approval must agree to conduct a self-study following the procedures outlined in the "Manual on Baccalaureate Health Education Program Approval: Criteria and Guidelines for Self-Study". An inherent component of the self-study process is documentation that the program assures graduates of being able to demonstrate competencies for entry-level health educators. The competencies are described in the document "A Framework for the Development of Competency-Based Curricula for Entry Level Health Educators," from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
