Charge: To be responsible for directing and carrying out the Undergraduate Program Approval credentialing process for eligible college and university programs preparing professional health education specialists at the baccalaureate level. To determine/review eligibility criteria for applying for the SOPHE/AAHE Approval; to develop and revise materials appropriate to the Approval process (e.g. Guidelines, Manual, Self Study forms); to appoint Site Visit Review Teams; to review the applying institutions' Program Self Study, and make recommendations to the Site Visit Review Team; to evaluate the Team's report and recommendations; and to determine Approval Designation.
