Injury Research / Resource Centers
Current CDC-Funded Injury Control Research Centers (ICRCs) The CDC National Center for Injury Prevention and Control funds eleven Injury Control Research Centers around the country to conduct research and serve as both training centers for public health professionals and information centers for the public. These multidisciplinary research centers use research, education and prevention programs to address all areas of injury control- prevention, acute care, and rehabilitation.
Previously-Funded CDC Injury Control Research Centers (ICRC)
Violence Prevention Resource Centers These resource centers act as a single point of access for information and materials available for preventing sexual violence, youth violence and suicide, violence against women, and information for training violence prevention practitioners.
National Academic Centers of Excellence on Youth Violence These ten centers are funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The centers are bringing together academic institutions and communities to collaboratively stop violence and promote healthy safe environments for youth.
