Resolutions
on Injury Prevention
SOPHE, along with various other organizations,
often write resolutions, a statement that identifies and describes
a health education issue and calls for specific action by the organization.
These resolutions are part of the advocacy efforts from each of
these groups. Advocacy is an important part of the health
education profession that needs to be further recognized.
For further information about advocacy efforts and to learn about
the annual Health Education Advocacy Summit, visit http://www.healtheducationadvocate.org/Summit/.
(SOPHE resolutions are member driven and members
are encouraged to develop resolutions. If you are interested
in forming a committee and developing a resolution, contact SOPHE
National Office, info@sophe.org)
SOPHE currently has two resolutions on injury
prevention:
