The Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) has a dynamic opportunity for an experienced, innovative, entrepreneurial-minded membership and marketing leader to join the world's only independent 501c3 organization for health education/promotion professionals. This position is responsible for developing, overseeing, and executing a comprehensive marketing program for individual and associate membership development, marketing and communications. This individual will collaborate with Senior Management and oversee staff to create business strategies for member recruitment, retention and reenrollment to grow the market share and profitability. This is a highly collaborative role requiring masterful communication skills and the ability to interact successfully with Senior Management, staff, members, volunteers and vendors. Editorial and Project Manager
Coordinate the launch of a new peer-reviewed e-journal, Pedagogy in Health Promotion: the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, and the production of a bimonthly scholarly journal Health Promotion Practice by working with the Editor-in-chief, editorial board and journal publisher. Coordinate national conferences, meetings and online professional development opportunities for health professionals.
