SOPHE’s Webinar Call For Abstracts

Abstract Submission Deadline: November 30, 2018

 

SOPHE is expanding the number of live, interactive webinars for 2019. We are seeking presenters interested in delivering webinar presentations to participants. Before submitting your abstract, make sure you are familiar with the following Abstract Submission Guidelines. Upon submission, abstracts will go through a peer review and selection process. If you have questions on the guidelines or the submission process, please contact education@sophe.org.

Presentation Format
Presentations should be 30-, 60-, or 90-minutes in duration. SOPHE will give a 3-5 minute introduction and guide the Q&A at the end.

Topics
While we will be accepting submissions in a wide variety of focus areas, we are especially interested in presentations in Behavior Change Theory & Practice, Health Equity/Disparities, Social Determinants of Health, Cultural Competence, and Health Communications/Technology. Presentation Materials
Webinar presenters will be required to submit the checklist in draft form of their visual presentation materials for CE review at least 4 weeks prior to the presentation. These materials are held for audit purposes only. Please do not submit your webinar presentation as part of your abstract submission.

Continuing Education 
SOPHE is a designated multi-event provider of Category 1 Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECHs) by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. All abstracts will undergo a review and approval by the SOPHE CE Review Committee. CE credits will be offered for all approved recorded webinars and made available on SOPHE’s Center for Online Resources and Education platform.
