MN SOPHE 2019 Health Education Summit

Registration is NOW OPEN for the October 24th Health Education Summit at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter Minnesota.  The planning committee is excited about this year’s novel theme, “Arts, Health And Wellbeing: A Creative Approach to Public Health Education“,  This is a wonderful opportunity to attend a vibrant, in-state, affordable professional conference! All details, including registration and sponsorship opportunities are available on our website HERE.

At only $60 for professional members and $20 for student members, it’s the best deal around! We are applying for approval for 5.5 CHES/MCHES credits* or professional continuing education contact hours. Questions about the conference? Contact Suzanne Driessen, HES chair, driesen@umn.edu   

*An application has been submitted to award Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) up to a total of  5.5 Category I Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECH). The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. has approved SOPHE and its chapters as designated multiple event providers of CECH in health education. SOPHE is approved by the National Board of Public Health Examiners as a provider of CPH Renewal Credits.
