Membership Types & Fees
If you want to join a community with an independent voice for advancing health promotion policy, research, and practice—SOPHE is the organization for you.

| Practicing (New) | First-time member; health education professional with more than one year of experience | $150 |
| Practicing (Renewing or Returning) | Health education professional who has previously been a member of SOPHE Save $45 with a three-year membership | $205 |
| Student* | Currently enrolled student. (Verification of current enrollment status required.) | $85 |
| Transitional** | Health educational professional who has graduated within the last 24 months | $135 |
| Emeritus | Retired professional | $135 |
| Emeritus Lifetime*** | Renewal option available to current emeritus members only | $1,250 (one-time fee) |
*Students must be currently enrolled in accredited academic program. Student applicants required to submit verification documentation (i.e. unofficial transcripts, certificate of enrollment, letter from a faculty or school representative, etc.) certifying current student enrollment status.
**Transitional members must submit a copy of unofficial transcripts or enrollment verification certificate certifying graduation within the last 24 months. (Maximum of one year of membership is allowed in this category)
