Membership Fees
If you want to join a community with an independent voice for advancing health promotion policy, research and practice – SOPHE is the organization for you.

Practicing – New | First time member; Health education professional with more than one-year experience | $145 |
Practicing-Renewing/Returning | Health education professional who has previously been a member of SOPHE | $195 |
Practicing – 3-year | $45 savings | $540 |
Student* | Full-time student in good standing with at least 6 months or more until graduation | $80 |
Transitional** | Health educational professional who has graduated within the last 24 months | $130 |
Emeritus | Retired professional | $130 |
Emeritus Lifetime*** | Renewal option available to current emeritus members only | $1,200 (one-time fee) |
*Students must be currently enrolled full-time with at least six months until graduation. Please submit unofficial transcripts, enrollment verification or letter from a faculty or school representative certifying status.
**Transitional members must submit copy of unofficial transcripts or enrollment verification certificate certifying graduation within the last 24 months. (Maximum of one year of membership is allowed at this category)
