This full-day workshop focuses on conducting a SCRIPT counseling session with a pregnant smoker.

The training covers how to routinely screen pregnant women for tobacco use, how to use the SCRIPT materials in a counseling session and how to follow up with patients.

An application has been submitted to award Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) to receive up to 7.0 total Category I Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECH).  Maximum Advanced-level Continuing Education Contact Hours available are N/A.  SOPHE, including its chapters, is a designated provider of Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
