The Pedagogy in Health Promotion: The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning journal focuses on pedagogy through contributions in areas such as curriculum and course/program design, assessment, and administration relevant to teaching and learning.
The quarterly journal welcomes works addressing the art and science of teaching and learning, and how it contributes to the formation and ongoing development of the health promotion professional working in any site and population.
Teaching About Race, Racism, Anti- Racism and Social Justice in Health Promotion and Public Health
Racial injustice pervades our global society, and the work of dismantling it extends across disciplines.
Call for papers – we welcome submissions from multiple fields (e.g., public health, sociology, anthropology, economics, medicine, nursing, education, geography and urban planning) using pedagogical approaches to connect racism and racial justice to health.
Submissions from all nations and global regions, recognizing that the health effects of racism can vary in their particulars, but share many characteristics are welcome.
Professionals and students of color are encouraged to submit.
