Expanding Your Toolbox with Resources from CDC

April 23, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT

This webinar will introduce participants to evidence-based programs. The programs that will be discussed are the School Health Index, Physical Education Curriculum Analysis Too, and Health Education Curriculum Analysis Tools. Furthermore, these evidence-based programs will teach you how they can be integrated into higher education programs. Also, participants will learn from members of both SOPHE and SHAPE America who have used these tools in their higher education teacher prep programs.

Participants will be able to:
• Identify evidence-based tools and resources to assess and analyze school health policies, practices, and curriculum.
• Describe ways to integrate evidence-based tools and resources into health and physical education for instance, like teacher preparation programs.
