Principles & Practice of Injury Prevention

An intensive, competency-‐based course designed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in injury and violence prevention. A problem-‐solving paradigm is used to introduce the principles and practice of injury prevention. The 3.5-‐day course includes:
- Lectures and discussions that cover competencies in the field, led by center faculty and other experts.
- Small group exercised that enable participants to use what they are learning in lecture through hands-on practical application.
