An intensive, competency-­‐based course designed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in injury and violence prevention. A problem-­‐solving paradigm is used to introduce the principles and practice of injury prevention. The 3.5-­‐day course includes:

  • Lectures and discussions that cover competencies in the field, led by center faculty and other experts.
  • Small group exercised that enable participants to use what they are learning in lecture through hands-on practical application.

Scholarships available. Registration is open.
