Urge Congress to Make Public Health Funding a Priority for FY 2021

Act Now!

Washington, D.C – December 1, 2020 – Congress has until December 11 to pass an appropriations bill to fund the government for FY 2021.

Now more than ever, your voice is needed to ensure Congress funds a strong, resilient public health workforce and infrastructure to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and other health needs.

Request your legislators to fund the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) at least at $7.926 billion (House Appropriations level) and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) at least at $7.194 billion (House Appropriations level) for the FY 2021 appropriations bill.

Congress needs to put the health of Americans at the forefront by appropriating full funding for a robust public health system that addresses the needs of all populations impacted by COVID.

Act now to urge your elected official to prioritize public health funding as they work to finalize FY 2021 Labor-HHS-Education appropriation bill.
