Continuing Education

SOPHE’s 2023 Annual Conference has been approved to award Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES®) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES®) up to 41.50 Category 1 Continuing Education Contact Hours (CECHs). The conference has been approved to award a maximum of 20.75 advanced-level CECHs.

The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. has approved SOPHE and its chapters as designated multiple-event providers of CECHs in health education. SOPHE is a provider of Certified in Public Health (CPH) Renewal Credits. An application has been approved to award up to 20.75 CPH Renewal credits on behalf of the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
